Just as information there are no longer any fish left in the lake. They all winter killed the winter of 2010-2011. Fish biologist indexed netted the lake in fall 2012 over a four day period - never caught a fish. Water to shallow and too little oxygen to support fish.

Have a cabin on the west side, south of Spring Beach. Haven't used it in years since the lake became the slough it now is. Last time we tried fishing was about 10 years ago and never had a bit in about 4 hours of casting and trolling the north and west sides.

Walk out about 20 feet and the lake drops off, you can fish from shore with rubber boots. Fished two days and never caught anything but no doubt there is fish here.... Some where....

Officially declared dead lake, although biologist say there might be some pike or burbot left in but rare. Looks like water level is rising the last 2 years and they're thinking of turning it into Rainbow Trout fishery if levels keep rising. Used to have a lot on the East side. Used to be a beautiful lake to swim and fish.
