About 20" of ice. Lake currently has whirling disease in it.

Caught a few healthy rainbow with #4 hook and worm sitting on the bottom, tried flies without any luck, the same with spinners and small crank baits... Beautiful spot but for the amount of people fishing I was surprised how many people left getting skunked. All our bites were in one small section about 100 yards east of the "main dock" and less than 15 yards from shore. Happy fishing and wish you tight lines.

We always drive out here from Edmonton. Its beautiful and private. Went out on Saturday Aug 3. We had a huge amount of bites and about 20 caught. One was trout was 16". Best weekend so far out there. We were with 2 other Couples. One sat about 20 ft away and not nothing for about 3 hrs. One sat across the water & nothing either. .... Perhaps it was the power bait gel I put on the powerbait. I e pink & one yellow. This was the first time we brought fish home from here. We always catch and release. Fish was gross to eat

Caught plenty on a #16 Tom Thumb fly. Fished it dry and stripped in slowly just under the surface. Great little trout pond.

I went on fathers day on my pontoon boat and fly fished. I caught 20-30 6-10 inch rainbows and let go or they shook off the fly. It was a light drizzle and a great day of fishing

I fish their close to every second weekend i can and all during the week. At this time wed 29 of may 2013 they just stocked the lake with rainbow trout so getting a bite is near impossible and they are to tiny to want. give it another week because a couple dont make it in the stocking proccess so their are a few small dead ones at the shallow parts of the water. Beside that this is an amazing place to take your kids to catch a first fish we have caught around 4 perch in total and up to 24 fish in one day we dont keep any just catch and relese but it is def the place to go. Best spot to fish is right when you come in on the dock that sadly has around 4 dead fish or go to the left side anywere down that side is good far down the left side it also has a pallet that you can set up a double chair to sit down. The right side is alright but we caught the 24 fish on the left so we would need to figure were the hole is to manage that on the right hope this helps. Also we use a slip bober rig with a nimf skirt with an orange jig head always have good luck. for winter fishing use a spinning golbe and you can watch them go after it and see them strike its amazing with a fishing tent. Checked the lake out for the first time this week, caught one nice rainbow and saw lots jumping. Definitely going to spend a day here once the weather straightens up
