Went on august 20th. The weeds aren't near as bad as before. I lost 1 spoon in a big patch of weeds, so I put on a weedless spoon and continued. Next thing you know I'm in the big patch of weeds again, except this time my line didn't snap and I reeled the patch in. I got my spoon back that I had lost and someone else's rubber pike hook! Continued fishing and a pike kept hitting my weedless spoon 3 feet from shore. Was able to catch it on the 4th cast! Then the rain it and I had to leave. So in summary, caught 1 in about 20 mins of fishing. Not bad for lunch time fishing. You are able to get bits every cast right before dark on the rocky side though!!

Lots of weeds. Murky water. Fishing was slow.

Lake seems completely dead, not even minnows or bugs swimming around the shoreline

Once arriving from the north entrance, take the right turn and travel around the lake to the irrigation canal and fish off of the shore.

Great fishing! About one fish every 45 min. During midday, and more at dusk and dawn. You need to go to the little reservoir, otherwise you will be fishing in nothing but reeds. (see hot spot)
