Pike were killing it. Had a few walleye too. Nothing to write home about but very consistent and easy fishing in the right spots. Camped 1 night and it was very nice.

Camped here this weekend caught tons of pikes and walleyes but no keepers. Most being a little to small. Want to try later in the year again maybe

Perch wasn't biting this weekend at all we only had 2 in about 6 hours trying all parts of the lake. Talked to other people on the lake and they said the same thing. The bite just wasn't on.

One of my favourite lakes! Hitting the walleye and perch all day. 1lb perch, and the usual 49-52cm walleye. Jacks were plentiful all day as well!

Perch by the deadheads. 6 to 8 feet of water jogging or slip bobbers.

Anyone been out there this winter. I've been in on successive years and sometimes cants stop catching jumbos, other times can't convince anything to nibble... Last few years in the summer the size of the walleye have steadily decreased... Alberta should adopt some of Saskatchewan's policies... Let people keep the little teenager fish and throw back the big breeders... That's why sizes and quantity in our lakes are steadily decreasing.

Sled in from Pinehurst side. Enter Blackett and cross over to Kinard

What is the easiest way to get on the lake in the winter I've never been and would like to try it out any suggestions

It's crazy here man! Are you kidding? The bites now stop anywhere on the lake.

Has anyone been out on the ice yet? Just wondering about conditions. Hows the bite?
