Used to fish and party at this one and the east pond a lot a few years back. (We always cleaned up our mess before we went back to town). Everyone had a good time. I did do some fishing here with a good friend of mine last summer and managed to land one that was 13" on a small Panther Martin spinner. My buddy had a couple bites and we saw lots of jumpers. Used to catch em on mepps spinners too. Lots of weeds in there last summer though. Small spoons sometimes work. But fly fishing seems to be the ticket in the summer. But if you're spin casting, a really good method of catching a few is to use a pickerel rig with half a nightcrawler on each hook, that's how I caught a lot of trout from here in the past, and I caught a lot of bows and browns and small perch out of Beaumont pond near Edmonton/Sherwood park in the town of Beaumont. Hope it might help anyone that gets out there this summer.

May 21 2017, fish here from 1 pm to 5:30. caught a lot of fish. fly fishing, using 52 buick fly, chironomid and some dry. all end up succesful. they are huge and fisty. biggest one i caught is like over a foot. probably between 14 to 16 inches. pretty amazed how big the rainbows in this small lake. first time fishing here, just had a day off and decided to hit the pond because the creek still close. all in all its a good day!! good to see lots of people and family around enjoying and teaching their kids to fish. thats what its all about. everybody had a good time.

Caught a little 10-12 incher on the second cast. Using a little fuzzy spinner, no bait. Nothing since. They are rising all over the pond and following the lure in but no other takers
