Caught several hammer handle jacks and a couple walleye. Wind drifting in 6-12 feet of water with jig heads and minnows. The kids loved it!! 3 and 5 year old...

No surprise. They will eventually eliminate every lake that has perch. Too many pike and walleye taking over our lakes. Brutal

Bite has been slow last couple of years. seeing lots of micro walleye/pike and the odd burbot. Been spending a little more time at skeleton and having slightly better success.

I caught a dozen walleye on Sunday, all in the 55cm range. That was very positive to see and happy that the lakes are appearing to be well managed.

Jigs and minnows will catch a load of walleye and jacks in 12-15 feet of water. The perch are still a mystery!!

Went out yesterday, there's a good 18 inches of ice. Someone has removed a under water pipe for water skiing from the lake, it was hard to find any perch. Caught 1 pike and 6 perch between two of us.
