This pond was recently stocked. Went for a family walk today and saw some young kids catch a couple. Also saw a lot of surface action. 1 5%u201D fish jump a good foot out of the water.

There's construction blocking off access to all but one of the prime spots to fish off of. It's supposed to go on until September, so between that and the people letting their dogs wander freely, I'll wait until the fall to fish here again.

by barrykoy on May. 4, 2019
Today was windy and there were no more goldfish! Hope the trout will survive

by Catch,N' fun on Jul. 29, 2018
I looked on Alberta fishing guide and it said to was stocked in 2017

by findingnemo on May. 27, 2018
And how do we do that Catch,N' fun? I don't think this pond was ever good, but it is a convenient location. It does, unfortunately, have the whirling disease as I witnessed one large rainbow swimming in circles last summer.

by Catch,N' fun on Mar. 18, 2018
We have to pressure the Alberta fish and game association to restock this once good pond

by findingnemo on Jul. 9, 2017
Caught a few small rainbows early in the morning.

by NorthernYaker on Feb. 25, 2017
Brently just tell me where and when internet tough guy. Can't wait.

by Catch,N' fun on Feb. 9, 2017
when will they stock it

by Brentlyexperience on Nov. 29, 2016
I will meet you at your earliest convenience and you can try your theory out in real life. Just name a place and time and I will pop right out of the internet and into real life where this dream of yours will have a much less happy outcome than you had previously anticipated.

by NorthernYaker on Nov. 5, 2016
Hey Brently I suggest you read and then re read your regulations, it's illegal to have one in your possession in Alberta while fishing let alone use one... Burn it because if I see you with it your being gaffed, dummy.

by Brentlyexperience on Nov. 5, 2016
Just nailed a big pike on the south end beside the dock yesterday with a large black spoon. Once I overcame it with my strong forearm muscles I dragged it up onshore with a gaff hook and pulled the spoon out of it's gate. That's when it tail slapped me and pinned er back into the lake.

by barrykoy on Jul. 5, 2016
Are their any fish left in this pond? Rainbow trout perhaps?

by Riverbear on May. 3, 2016
They are currently rebuilding this ponds banks and park area. It's going to look great. Unfortunately people still lets dogs in the water (on leash around pond) great place to learn to catch goldfish. Also there is two monster coi in there, the battle lines are drawn.

by kierra2001 on Aug. 3, 2015
I've heard of people catching things but I haven't caught anything yet, but I'm a novice. I saw the two huge koi at the surface moving about. But there's tons of goldfish in there of all sizes. Sad that people are dumping these non-native species.

Ice is breaking!! Also I blame Ifish for the silly post. Guy probably is in Arkansas

by sebek18 on Mar. 30, 2015
Brentlyexperience you can leave. This pond only has rainbows. Your non-sense is not welcomed.

by Brentlyexperience on Mar. 29, 2015
Got a nice largemouth at the south side on a jitterbug.

by Stryker2 on Oct. 21, 2014
Was there on Monday! What a joke of a lake! It's a cesspool! No self respecting trout would swim in there! LOL!

by Thomas17384 on Jul. 20, 2014
I've seen lots of trout jumping. There are two koi living in the pond about 24" long. I always see kids trying to catch crayfish with hotdogs but I haven't fished here yet. There was a man in a cannoe there last week.

by scarab70 on Jul. 3, 2014
Its amazing how big the fish get. One guy on a fly caught what a 4 pounder. We're using worms and mashmallows and getting some 2 pounders.
by scarab70 on Jun. 18, 2014
Monday and today were really good. Between us we caught 10 in 1 hour. Evening and heavy cloud cover.
by scarab70 on Jun. 13, 2014
Its Friday the 13th and a honey moon night. Catching 2 in 15 minutes. Beautiful evening.

by sebek18 on Jun. 11, 2014
Went every single day last week and caught an average of 12 rainbows each. Kept five really nice ones. I DO NOT understand how someone wants to catch a small rainbow on a big pike treble and 40 pound line... I am using fly hooks, size 12 and a 4x or 5x tippet tied to a bobber I have from Europe.
by scarab70 on Jun. 11, 2014
Biting pretty good nothing for us though. Using worms and maggots. Few people catching small unes. Big Koi swimming at the surface.
by Dustin64 on Jun. 5, 2014
My 4 year old pulled 6 out lastnight in about half hour. 1 keeper. Put it back for next time. Good spot!
by Brigs on May. 30, 2014
Somebody released a giant coy fish in there, was over a foot long

by Fryguy on May. 28, 2014
Yeah its stocked. I was there today I caught 2 keepers one was 3lbs and the other was 1.5lbs and every other fish I caught were this years stock.

by becks on May. 16, 2014

by stingray14 on May. 14, 2014

by stingray14 on May. 4, 2014

by Pike 29 on Feb. 19, 2014
If u could ice fish I would be here all day all night but wait till may and the stocking it will have around 2-3 pounder in this pond about 2000 fish.

by iFish Guest on Nov. 30, 2013

by Pike 29 on Nov. 27, 2013
Us a single hook with a small little chunk of a sticky marshmallow and a big sinker to hold it down got 9, 3 pounders in about a half hour

by Bylar on Jun. 4, 2013

by Boognish on Aug. 5, 2012

by Ned on Jun. 1, 2012

by No luck on Sep. 13, 2011
Been to this place a couple time and didn't even a nibble

by Mr.K on Jul. 9, 2011
Once upon a time someone emptied their koi in here, so if you want to try to catch some have at it. The one I saw last year looked pretty fat. Unfortunately I have been here twice and had no luck.

by Boognish on May. 18, 2011
This is located in the middle of a offlease dog park. Terrible fishing. There's constantly dogs swimming in this water and it's small.
by Clark on Jul. 29, 2020
Is it a far walk from parking to the pond? It is shore fishing here right?
