is there still brook trout in the lake?

Spent 3 hours there yesterday. We were 4 guys and got only 1 fish. The lake used to be more productive. I saw at least 3 aerators working which I guess changed the fish activity/behavior quite a bit. What I do not understand is why those aerators were not working in the winter. I thought they were installed last summer to prevent winter kills but I am surprised that they operate only in summer. Now the lake has a lot of weed and the shore is surrounded with 5 ft high plants that will catch your hooks every time you take it out if the water. I blame that on that summer aeration

Doesn't seem to be much going on except some shrimp. The lake is also kind of small and dingy.

My Buddy and me reeled in 10 rainbows in 3 hours on June 24. Decent size. Lovely spot. We used Gulp dough. The orange and green with sparkles. That's what got them.

When people do that to me I stare them blankly for a moment then just keep casting. Only have to fly 1 or 2 casts by their head and they get the point.

fly fish here june 5, lots of small ones. lots of fun for first hour until 3 fisherman came and start fishing right beside me. I guess these guys are new in fishing. hope people will learn the etiquette and respect other. Cant even cast my fly, worried of hooking them in their ears and eyes. oh well, anyway good part of it they have fun and i pack my gear and left.

They just stocked the Lake. 6" to 8" rainbows. Went out this morning and landed three on rainbow sparkle power bait. And shockingly they actually got the aerator working this spring. You can see ten bubble areas throughout the Lake.

Fished my regular spot and caught three fish in 15 minutes. If you are using powerbait stop. Berkeley small floating worms 5' off the bottom is the best fall bait.

Fished for 6 hours on the weekend. Caught one small Pike (trolling from boat on south east side). way too many weeds. Lake was covered in surface weeds. Lure would be in the water for just seconds and you would have weeds on.
