Caught lots of jackfish over the years and filled my walleye tags here last summer, I imagine the perch may be near the provincial park or the islands perhaps. Not too sure about burbot and whites.

by FlounderPounder on Jan. 19, 2019

For sure. We will unload a sled and drill some test holes along the way before we bring the truck and trailer on

by redneckfishnalbertan on Jan. 17, 2019

Thanks for the advice Fishy-Finger. We will be hanging around the mission. Any other suggestions for locations?

by FISHY-FINGER on Dec. 27, 2017

This lake can be tricky to fish, last yr i moved 7 times to all ends of the lake until i found my honey hole. The first 10 mins i had a 25lb pike and a 14lb. The walleye began to bite at dark. Don’t be scared to move around. I move ever 30 min if nothing happens. I don’t have a camera so I don’t know whats down there. Just move until i find the aggressor fish.

by FISHY-FINGER on Dec. 27, 2017

A quick call to the sporting store will get ya all the info ya need I’m giessing the ice will be 24” bu the new yr since the temps in LLB are hovering around -30 for a week

Was the Pow Wow Days Fish Derby held on Lac La Biche? If it was, does anyone know what the biggest Pike and Perch sizes were?

Star Star Star Star Star

by Lester D on Aug. 3, 2017

If you are down wind, the blue-green algae can engulf you. Can't be good for the cooling system in the motor. Caught a nice 87 cm jack and a few nice walleye. Alas,no tags!!
