Ice 16+", Access from the east boat launch. Lots of hard snow drifts on top, had to punch through Saw one lonely pike on the camera, but not even a nibble. Fished from 11'-37' and saw nothing else. Must be hunkered down from the cold.

I was on this lake from 5:00 p.m to 10:00 p.m ad caught a total of 10 fish. 9 pike averaging 2-3 pounds and one walleye that was just under 5. Jigs and rattlin rapalas were main lure used. There were four of us fishing!

Lake is catch and release for pike and walleye, so I thought I'd try for some larger fish. Been a couple of years since I fished here last but we would constantly catch 24-40 a day. This time I was skunked. Two tentative nibbles all day. Nothing in my lure pile enticed a single solid hit. Winds picked up at mid day but not to the point of whitecaps. Not sure what the problem was. Ordinarily, I'd recommend this lake for good fishing photo ops for first timers and kids.
