With the agricultural water use the water level can drop to inches and you won't notice if your not paying attention.

I forgot to leave a comment earlier this year.. I worked around this area for a long time.. never really though of fishing here. It was all about the south one was better. Well let me tell you . Me and a couple of guys rented a couple of boat from the local lodge. In Conklin. And man did we ever have a fun time great manager. He even told us some great spots to go.. and even of you didn't go to those spots anywhere was a blast.. caught alot of fish. Even though we where there just for the fun this time.. I will be comming back with family.. cheers

Big walleye suspended in 14 - 17 feet. Big swim baits worked very slowly through the school gave consistent action.

by Dare on Sep. 16, 2012
Hammered the walleye on a windswept point. They were deeper than normal. We caught over 50 fish in 2 hours. Some small but most were 24" or better. Remind me why this lake is a closed fishery again????

Big pike mid summer

by Laurie on Jun. 13, 2011
Fished Christina 2011 June 6 thru 9. Productive, particularly during the evening. Briefly experimented fishing for pike with fly rod. Encouraging result in weedy shallows. Would encourage fly fishers to work the weedy shallows with pike fly.
