by Cowgirlforever on Sep. 20, 2020
Lots of boats this weekend, caught a nice feisty rainbow that put up a good fight. No tigers unfortunately but lots of angling pressure. Beautiful lake and smooth as glass sept 19th 2020

by The- nut on Apr. 17, 2019
Just wondering if anyone knows if there still ice on the lake

by Cajed1 on May. 3, 2018
As of Monday 100 percent ice covered except for 2 openings at the aeration systems.

by CountryBoy29 on May. 2, 2018
Hey anybody know if the ice is cleared off the lake enough to pontoon fish? I haven't made it out there yet this year.
by Boxbrown on Mar. 31, 2018
That's absolutely untrue Mike. You can ice fish it until Nov 30th and after April 1st

by Mike g1 on Dec. 22, 2017
No ice fishing allowed

by RedDevil79 on Aug. 22, 2017
Catching some nice sized fish this season. Water level is low so lots of weeds.

by The Cobra on Apr. 18, 2017
So went out to Beaver Lake yesterday and the ice is 60% off you can still fish it from the bank or carrying your Pontoon boat like 150 yards to the bank. Had a great day fly fishing from shore landed 2 and one 21.5" the one I landed was on a white leech Grizzly Bugger and the other to caught on a brown Leech pattern

by Monsterlander on Feb. 19, 2016
Sorry wrong lake. 😬

by Monsterlander on Feb. 19, 2016
It was the first time I have Ever been there. I caught 2 brookies and 2 rainbows. Both were fairly small. I had a few bigger ones come through my hole but really early in the morning. I had a camera and everytime I saw a fish in the distance they would come and check out my line. They seemed hungry just didn't see a lot. If I were to go back I would fish as close as I could safely fish to the aerator. But that's just my guess but I feel like there would be more fish hanging out by all the oxygenated water.

Lake was half frozen last Sunday. Saw a few risers but threw my whole box at them with no takers.
by mitchyd on Apr. 9, 2015
My buddy's dad was here last weekend and said there was a portion of it that was open but not the whole lake. He got quite a few rainbows and one was 24" ... So he says lol
by Kellyzee on Apr. 1, 2015
Does anybody have a ice off report for this lake yet?

by Lakechaser on Mar. 26, 2015
This is a trophy lake only. You are not allowed to keep any size fish of any species.

by Waldo78 on Jan. 2, 2015
Anyone ice fished on this lake this year? It would be a nice alternative to Burntstick. Please post Ice thickness if you have thanks
by Big Al on Dec. 2, 2014

Any ice fishing on this lake?

by snazyevey on Sep. 16, 2014
Great time of year. Was there Sunday. Managed almost 30 fish between two guys. Boatman/back swimmers were the ticket.

by Fisherman02 on Sep. 2, 2014
Hi reddaway, I was here today as a visit and it is usually nice. But just like you said every other lake - well here to. I have never seen so many boats on this little lake (23) and no we're to park. Looked like a tournament. Even with signs posted of the fines no respect at all. I couldn't believe to see almost everyone keeping fish or toss the little guys in the air to hit the water hard as they were disappointed it wasn't a shark. Just sicken me to see people acting this way. Some were even in my group - friends of friends doing group camping. Then come next Sunday were church goers again all is fixed. Starting to hate people, going to ruin it for all of us. Weekend warriors / idiots.

Has any one been to the lake during the cooler weather an if so how was the fishing and what is the water tempb
by Fivehole35 on Aug. 16, 2014
Only caught one fish great day on the water still.

by Reddaway on Aug. 2, 2014
I started coming here this year and I've been 7 times always caught and have never seen anyone poaching unlike every other lake I've been to this year. Alberta regs says ONE rod per angler in the water folks.

by chongo on Jul. 7, 2014
This is a CNR lake! Catch & release only. Everyone we saw was releasing.
by TightLine101 on Jul. 6, 2014
To add on I'm pretty sure zero limit means let everything go back and grow...

by TightLine101 on Jul. 6, 2014
Hopefully fish and wildlife has a stocking regime for this lake and anglers start to respect the regs so we can try and "grow" this into a fun lake where catching the prize is better than taking home a pan fry

by chongo on Jul. 5, 2014
Tough day today. Water temp 22-23C fish were deep in the middle of the lake. Marked them at 25ft. 4 on/offs and netted 1 17" rainbow, we fished in and around 11ft depth.

by snazyevey on Jun. 26, 2014
Awesome lake. Once you figure it out you will catch them all day. I was there on the weekend. Stopped counting after 20. Leeches were the flavour of the day under an indicator

by bakercreek56 on Jun. 25, 2014
Fished it last weekend. 17 belly boats/pontoons on the lake. 17! Small lake and few were catching any. I suggest mid week and early to get a spot or it's a parking lot.
by RedDevil79 on Nov. 1, 2021
Big trout cruising the bank. Caught a few 4 lbs
