How much is an outfitter for the day?

After camping at the Carnarvon Lake & Lake of The Horns junction last Thursday night, Dewey from Anchor D Outfitting was punctual picking us up Friday morning to begin the ride to Lake of The Horns. Once again we could only get so close to the cliff wall with the horses. which we had to climb to reach the lake. Again it was a potentially dangerous adventure to climb. I you would happen to loose you footing and fall, which would result in serious injuries. The lake was absolutely crystal clear. We could easy see fish swimming in the tropical looking water, but nothing in the fly box could coax them into taking the flies. This lake is approximately a 20 km return trip from the Cat Creek day use area. The cost of hiring Anchor D Outfitting was easy worth the price, you will not regret it if you do.

It's a great deal. $250.00 for the day, if you stay in one of their cabins it's $300.00/ day. The day trip includes a lunch including two sandwiches, an apple, desert square and water. I don't know if the cabin includes a supper. It's one of the best set ups we've hired.
