Thanks Man, Kyra my GSD and I couldn't be more excited about the trip as we have never fished this lake before... can hardly wait to get there.

Good luck @Pearldude. I would like to hear your good news!
by Pearldude on Feb. 4, 2022
I'm heading out there tomorrow for a overnight wintercamping fishing trip... wish me luck... looking forward to it. I may just park inland and walk out and set up camp. Will have to see.

There was no top water on Jan 15th. But the snow on the lake is quite thick. It took me hard time to walk 200 yards. If you drive on the track that other vehicles drove, it will be OK.

by jazzrod on Feb. 2, 2022
How good is access to calling is there lots of snow and top water

I fished Jan 15. The main boat launch in provincial parl was not good to drive down. I saw some people drove down to the lake from the smaller boat launch near the washroom area. It was a very slow day. I only saw a big pike tail through underwater camera. Not a single bite.

Thinking about doing an over night trip there. What's a good area to drive on at and what's the fishing been like here lately.

Fished Jan 02. Did well for walleye numbers. Trucks starting to drive out. Curious if anyone has any tips on whitefish there? Appreciate any insight

Hunter, use jigs and minnows. They work well right now in deeper water. 25-40 feet.
by iFish Guest on Mar. 17, 2022
Its bad. Lots of drifted snow.
