Thanks nightfisher. Anything on the white jig? May have to give it a go.

Just head straight north from the marina access go about 100 yards you'll be in 75 feet of water drill a hole if there's any Lakers around you should be able to catch them on white jigs.

Have never fished cold lake and have never caught a laker. Have fished around Edmonton a lot for perch, trout, walleye, and jack. Have no idea where to go or what to try. Any info would be appreciated - no ultra secret spots required. Have a 16 foot Lund for summer but would love to know if I can drive on and go for Lakers through the ice. No sled or quad. Thanks in advance.

Maybe if we get some really strong wind this week. The NASA worldview shows it’s still covered but it’s looking soft as of May 8th

No luck for perch today. Talked to a couple guys out there and they weren't having any luck either. Tons of jack cruising around which would explain the perch being skittish. Will try again one of these day's though

Was out punching holes on the sandbar all morning yesterday, drilled a few holes on the east side where the weeds start and the ice was maybe 4%u201D... just a heads up for anyone driving in that area

If I go out tomorrow I can drop a couple hotspot markers for a few places I’ve had good luck if that’ll help you out.

Not sure why it is always cutting off my messages but.. I was having some good luck with a 1” grub(orange with the black dot) and slabgrabbers. Landed a 13” one this morning too in a bit deeper of water. Around 18” or so. Using maggots on the slabgrabbers

Perchee.. maybe you should put in the time and find out for yourself.. pretty easy to sit at home and just hope someone tells you exactly where and when they're biting
