Can you fish off the shore or dock?

Craig W the lake went up after the thaw this year. Can always catch Pike on this lake and like my previous comment said there are a few perch but not many. Need to hopefully get some pike outta the lake this summer to help the perch thrive better.

Despite some of the older negative comments in this forum, I went out in a small boat last weekend and we caught a combined 10 decent-size (20+ inches) pike over a couple of afternoons. A scenic, quiet lake that is apparently under-rated. Lake level wasn't low at all, despite last year's comments by others.

Use to catch nice perch 10+ inches. A few walleye that were stocked in the 80's would be under 2 lbs Tried ice fishing and everything is gone but the odd tiny pike.. The lake has dropped. you will catch the odd small jack but nothing else. Too bad, another Ab lake that has died!!

Inlaws live on Vincent lake. Have been fishing it for 4 years. Caught jacks this summer. Last winter put the camera down saw some perch but have never seen a walleye in this lake. Water levels have dropped alot this year as well. Will try again around xmas and post what my results are.

by Dr.B on Jan. 24, 2016
Littlebro _28 you just gotta get out there more often and try different spots . Put alittle more effort into it man! They are there!😢
by littlebro_28 on Jul. 31, 2015
Dr. B is not telling the truth, he is posting false information on many local lakes and i know it aint true. No walley in this lake. His comments should be removed.

Boat launch is awful. Couldn't launch our boat. Moving on to another lake in the area.

How's the water at Vincent Lake this year? Has it gone up with all the snow/rain, or still quite low?

by TGalay on Jun. 16, 2013

Went out today and did alright! About a foot of ice, perch weren't biting very well, caught two decent ones and the jacks were crazy, couldn't keep them off of the hook, about 20 in under 3 hours! Will be going back for sure!

by IronMike on Dec. 26, 2012
Any been out for perch yet this year?

by Spam on Jun. 4, 2012
This lake has been slow since last fall. The pike are small and aren't Interested in biting.

by Bobbyfoe on Jan. 3, 2011
Ice is solid and the perch are biting pretty good when you find em, even some decent sized ones.
