How's the road in?

by Tom Pullings on Aug. 30, 2017
Fished here for a couple days and got lots of big walleye trolling perch pattern crankbaits and bottom bouncers with gulp leeches. Lots of pike too but fairly small average size. Couldn't find any perch but we didn't try very hard.

Troll along weedbeds for jacks. Most were too small to keep. Caught one in size limit but had worms on it. Nice lake, no power or showers. And very wet and rainy all summer.

This lake once had an indigenous population of lake trout. Has anyone ever reported catching any recently like in the last couple years?

Love this lake I've had really good luck early in the season and late in the season trick is water temp when it's cold find the warm water about 50 to 60 F and you will get them

This lake is amazing, All the people who say "Too long of a drive on gravel, and that say, Ohhh the fishing is slow" It's only about 35 km's on gravel, and it's one of the cleanest northern Alberta lakes ands usually glass. And the fishing isent slow I've caught tonnes of fish here, You just need to find the right spot.

More luck off the dock! Caught a 12lb and a 15lb pike. Would sure like to know how the walleye population is recovering as its been a lot of years since they dropped the limit to 0.

Tossing spoons in from the dock this morning caught 2 pike. One 59cm and one 85cm. He's gonna be tasty! Not a ripple on the lake

Nice campsite.. Fireban on though which made things not so desirable. Fished for 45 minutes close to shore. Landed a 82 cm pike.. About 5 lbs. My buddy caught and released a smaller pike and walleye. Pretty chilly however would recommend for fishing.

Ok lake, with walleye limits at none.what's the point of driving for hours on a gravel road. Fishing is pretty slow.small lake and wildlife guys are a bit over the top .

This lake is very remote and the road can be sketchy, fishing is just ok at best. The netting has never stopped!! I got stuck here one winter and stayed in my truck for 3 days before a grader showed up.
