Hi Champ, Thanks for the update. What is the water level now. It was way low while I were there last time.

by ChampBailey on Jul. 30, 2022
Went out on July 29th. Caught 4 pike and 1 walleye on out boat aswell as released an additonal 5. Temperatures were hot that day but we found the morning we were pretty succesful and then come noon and lunch it slowed down alot.

by odenmac on May. 12, 2022
Fished today, marked a fair amount of fish nearshore (15ft of water). Water level is pretty low, the islands are not covered. Water was still cold (46 Ferinheight), completely ice free, and only landed a couple of pike.

by odenmac on May. 12, 2022
FIshed today completely ice-free, as expected. Water is still pretty cool 46 Ferinheight. Marked fair amount of fish nearshore (15ft of water) but only caught pike.

by MrShark on Apr. 6, 2022
No more bait allowed at PC, but I'll give it a shot anyway--maybe with a drift net and some dynamite. Ice was off at this time last year. Anyone know if it's starting to come off yet this year?

by Lesterbenz on Jan. 8, 2022
Spent a few hours 200m from the boat launch. Ice was at least 20 inches thick. Very little action at 16 ft depth.

by Doobz on Sep. 5, 2021
Was out today from 7 till 730. Marked a ton of fish on the sonar, there are some hogs down there but as to what they are no clue. Caught 3 walleye, bite was super slow till the wind came up, caught in around 10 minutes trolling 3oz weight/crawler harness and leech, dead after that as well as dead all morning. Boat launch is a mess muck and the concrete pads are fubar, water is super low and murky.
by TeddyBear on May. 11, 2021
Can anyone tell me how high the lake is and if the boat docks are in yet? Thx

by SpinKing on Apr. 16, 2021
Thanks SkGold2. Appreciate your help

by iFish Guest on Jan. 31, 2021
Been down 4 times and harvested my limit of 12 inch plus each time. Sonar flasher was a great investment. Moving dropper jig rig and worm at different depths.

by mr k on Jan. 31, 2021

by Okotokian on Jan. 10, 2021
9 inches of ice just southwest of bridge, though open water directly under the bridge. Saw a few fish on sonar but no bites.

by Restoule on Dec. 12, 2020
Went down around 8 pm at night, to camp on lake. Boat launch has about 1 inch of clear ice. Heard probably 1000 geese on south end of lake Take off so it's open.

by Papacat1965 on Jun. 15, 2020

by Mario 888 on Apr. 28, 2020
Did anone been there is there still ice or you can fish now?

by Savage sage947 on Apr. 6, 2020
They added some rainbows here a few years back aperently they're growing huge anyone catch any?

by Smarchy on Mar. 21, 2020
Spent 9 hours out there yesterday fished a dozen spots from 5 - 46 FOW yesterday and didn't mark a single fish. Is there any fish left in here? Am I just that bad at fishing I can't even mark one on my sonar...? Was the only person on the lake from 10 - 2. Stayed till sunset and realized I didn't have any lights to stay longer. Solid 16" of black ice south of boat ramp all the way out to island. Drove out on the ice and had some gnarly cracking decided it wasn't worth it and drive back to boat ramp and hauled everything out. Stay safe out there people, wash your hand regularly and find lakes no one else is on. Tight lines! Also anyone looking for a good cheap sonar, the Lowrance hook 2 4x all season bundle is the tits. Super sensitive and user friendly. Install 4 screws on the Mount and plug in 2 wires to battery and it's good to go for ice fishing. Comes with everything you need for winter and summer

by Madfisherman89 on Mar. 5, 2020
That is probably the last burnout left in that lake and yes the pike walleye and harbor were all stocked in there years ago

by Smarchy on Mar. 2, 2020
20-24 inches far north west side, open water and lots of room to cast out some moving baits north side of bridge. No bites on a blade bait, rattle bait or a snap rap. Found a burbot on the shores though? Anyone confirm if burbot have been introduced here?

by mountainman11 on Feb. 15, 2020
open water under the bridge.
by mountainman11 on Feb. 15, 2020
no bites but great to be out of the city

What's ice fishing been like??

by Madfisherman89 on Nov. 10, 2019
There is decent shore fishing you just have to know where the few pike and walleye are
by ajja72 on Aug. 16, 2019
Is there reasonable shore fishing or am I a dreamer????

by Cory123 on Jul. 18, 2019
Pine Coulee Reservoir or Chain Lakes Reservoir for more action?

by Gooch1 on May. 23, 2019
since they lifted the catch and release limit at PCR the fishing has been horrible in my opinion.... used to catch 50 plus in an afternoon now we're lucky to catch 1 or 2....

by Cajed1 on May. 14, 2019

by Tip_Up on Mar. 29, 2019
Not good at all. Was out taking a look on the weekend on Saturday. The ice was dark and lots of water around the shore. I did not even attempt to see how thick the ice was.
by Savage sage947 on Mar. 29, 2019
How's the ice

by Gerry795 on Mar. 8, 2019
Went out Saturday evening and only one bite. Used to be such a good lake it's a shame

by Matt87 on Feb. 23, 2019
16-18 inches thick at the southwest boat launch. Very slow fishing with one small pike caught and no sign of walleye or trout using worm and smelt. Fish and wildlife was around checking licenses on a skidoo and said daily trout limits are 5.
by Gerry795 on Dec. 8, 2018

by fishforfun on Aug. 19, 2018
Hi everyone, any updates? Pike/walleye? What were you catching on? Not looking for special spots. Just curious what you were catching on/and or fishing from shore? Thanks

by Fisher123 on Aug. 16, 2018
the walleye are spawning caught 6” ones this year. The reason they are not growing is no food, our fishery’s decided not to put perch in as they are the natural food for both walleye and pike, now the pike and walleye are eating each other. Maybe when they put some 6” trout there may be food

by Fisher123 on Aug. 16, 2018
The walleye are spawning caught some 6

by johnp on Aug. 14, 2018
fished last week in 30 plus temperatures and caught 30 fish including a six lb rainbow the rest all walleye between 15 to 17 inches

by Dano 50 on Jul. 22, 2018
I hear ya Baldy, not fun the Lake was poorly managed from the start!!.i been getting a few Walleye North of bridge off shore,,however the lake is a shell of what it used to,hard to believe it was cleaned out in one open water season,,used to be so much fun

by Baldy66 on Jul. 16, 2018
Went yeasterday, landed one pike and had three bites, trolled the majority of the lake, most fish which we did find on the fish finder were between 10-14 ft deep. Fish were very few. Very poor fishing. Don't waste your time until our so called fish management tries to introduce a species in a lake that had no business introducing, and they have dvistated a once good fishing lake.
by bakercreek56 on Jul. 15, 2018
Spent 4 hours and never had a bite. Must have been 20 guys out fishing and one small pike between them all. Not what I had hoped for.
by bakercreek56 on Jul. 15, 2018
Spent 4 hours and never had a bite. Must have been 20 guys out fishing and one small pike between them all. Not what I had hoped for.

by Monsterlander on Jun. 29, 2018
You can't blame them. That's what fisheries management wants is for it to be fished out. Might as well get your hands on some before their all gone. They were gonna die of old age anyway. For some reason the walleye in this lake are all small but old. never grew big in this water body like they do in a lot of the others down south. Not sure how a 16 year old walleye taste anyway.

by AbuGarcia on Jun. 28, 2018
use to take my children there and they'd have a blast. Now its a bunch of old men with coolers poaching every last walleye they can get their hands on. Can't stand that site

by Dano 50 on Jun. 27, 2018
For all of us who have fond memories of Walleye fishing at PC< where u could catch 50 from the dock in 2 hours ,do not feel too guilty for man kinds instinct to be greedy however lets look at the facts of the SRD for another poorly managed fishery that went backwards as a slot size harvest would have been a better tool than feast or famine strategy that the so called EDUCATED Biologists decided to put in place in 2017.!!!!

by AbuGarcia on Jun. 26, 2018
Spoke to wildlife officer yesterday. Walleye are emptied for the most part now (as of May 2018 survey). Rainbow trout will were introduced in october but only 2000. Expecting to introduce 10,000 in early October of 2018.

Awesome fishing 20 eyes in 4 hours

by Blue jays on Jun. 17, 2018
Were fishing off the shore or in a boat?

by Dano 50 on Jun. 16, 2018
2 years ago it was non stop action, now with 1.35/l,for fuel go to Costco they have all the legal Walleye ya want without spending a 100$ on gas for no walleye,i guess the big harvest year showed that lake could never sustain harvest in the first place.

by MrShark on Jun. 12, 2018
Aha. Correct. Still, I suspect not a lot of walleye left....
by Cajed1 on Jun. 12, 2018
They want the predators gone to make it another stocked trout lake. Same refs it had on it last year

by Cajed1 on Jun. 12, 2018
Think you need to look again if it had a dot it would have a size limit since it doesn't state size limit it is just 3 fish any size. As stated in the first line on page 32 where it has the legend.

by MrShark on Jun. 12, 2018
Nope. It's 3 walleyes over 50 cm. Have another look.

by Cajed1 on Jun. 12, 2018
The only black dot is for open all year( only default reg at the lake Your reading it wrong it's says 3 walleye and 3 pike .. THAT MEANS ANY SIZE. If there was a black dot it would be 3 OVER 50

by Monsterlander on Jun. 11, 2018
Looks right to me.

by mountainman11 on Jun. 11, 2018
looks like it's 3 walleye over 50cm. this year. that black dot is on the 50cm 3 walleye column. or am I reading it wrong. it's still 3 walleye

by iFish Guest on Jun. 10, 2018
22" rainbow and a handful of Pike one was 29"

by Dano 50 on Jun. 8, 2018
Anyone catching Walleye

by calgary15 on May. 13, 2018
are the docks out yet and are you allowed to fish on them? Also is the trout biting?
by Cajed1 on May. 8, 2018
I could tell ya but you’d never learn that way, well that and if you believe someone on the internet your a idiot. Easy answer is... wait for it... Read the FN regulations.

by Saran on May. 8, 2018
What is the limit for 2018?

by motorbikemike- on May. 4, 2018
Visited lake today. All ice is gone, no bites in 7 hours. Used minnows, worms, power-bait, corn, rapalas, and spoons. Nothing seemed to bite.
by Bongdab on May. 3, 2018
Hi, is there anybody just resently visited the Lake. Is all the ice gone? Thanks for the info.

by coooco3 on Jan. 22, 2018
how thick is the ice ?

by Tip_Up on Jan. 21, 2018
Fishing was slow on Wednesday. They have closed the gates at the boat launch. I assume this is due to some spots only being 8 inches deep Near the dam and bridge. Drilled 30 holes most ice is 12 to 14 inches . Spent the day and got one eye and a few jack. Waters a bit green and visibility is maybe 8 feet.

by Highrockslayer on Jan. 20, 2018
Any update on ice or fishing? Thinking about heading there tomorrow. Any updates would be much appreciated!

by Cimthefishman on Dec. 31, 2017
My friends went out too pine Coulee and both guys caught there limit on walleye in the five hours that they were there and they were all nice sizes
by Krwfedoruk on Dec. 30, 2017
My buddy and I went today and there is no fish dead lake. Two sonars dont lie. 15-27 FOW.
by Gerry795 on Dec. 16, 2017
Is it even worth driving out there anymore or a waste of fuel?

by MrShark on Dec. 13, 2017
Is that the plan for Pine Coulee? To stock with Tiger Trout? If so, forget about Pine Coulee. The poachers will empty the rez of fingerlings every year and we'll all be pining for the bygone days of Walleye glory.
by Smokedit34 on Dec. 12, 2017
Spent most of friday there. NO FISH! Not gonna go back for a couple years let the new tiger trout grow nice and big.
by Tom51 on Dec. 11, 2017
I was there December 10 and they’re still a lot of open water

by ab trouter on Nov. 21, 2017

by calgary15 on Nov. 18, 2017
Eric thx but do you know what species of trout??

by eric_ryan88 on Nov. 17, 2017
I spoke to an angler ans apparently, after its been fished out, they are introducing trout there.

by Myles403 on Nov. 10, 2017
Anyone know if pine coulee is ready for ice fishing yet??

by calgary15 on Nov. 9, 2017
what is being stocked after the walleyes, pike and burbots are cleaned out

by ab trouter on Nov. 6, 2017
half the lake is frozen. fished 5 hours, no fish

by Cajed1 on Aug. 18, 2017
Never, they haven't closed a lake ever to fishing in my knowledge due to some algae...

by johnny76 on Aug. 17, 2017
just wondering how often is the lake (pine Coulee) closed due to the blue algae

by MrShark on Aug. 2, 2017
Curious whether the water level has gone down significantly in the last couple of months. Anyone?

by calgary15 on Jul. 30, 2017
there is a blue green algae bloom in it

by PastorDan on Jul. 29, 2017
Caught two Pike today, beautiful out there and nice open water. Great easy boat launch! Was out for 3.5 hrs

by mountainman11 on Jul. 5, 2017
Was out monday we got 4 walleye. Worms and minnows on a pickeral rig. Water is high. 1 pike most likely ripped hard it was a tug and a half my uncle said. Good day. 1 walleye by the spill way and 3 sw corner of bridge

by walleye finder on Jun. 26, 2017
A. I use minnows on a rig and let it sit for a while
by Jayjayjay on Jun. 25, 2017
Hey Big bass I hear a lot of people say they use minnows.

by Jayjayjay on Jun. 25, 2017
Hello how is everyone doing. When you use minnows do you use a pickle rig and let it sit on the bottom or use a jig head and keep casting and realing in? Thanks!
by Big bass 34 on Jun. 18, 2017
What are you guys using for walleye and pike

by ifishfreely on Jun. 16, 2017
First time ever to PC so not to sure on the hot spots. We took the boat just on the North side of the bridge and had some pretty decent luck. 11 small walleye between 2 of us in about 3 hours. Not sure how this no size limit is going to work. We kept 2 over 16" and threw back 9 that were 14-16". I'm sure the next guy will keep the smaller ones. All in not a bad day of fishing.

by mountainman11 on May. 28, 2017
Caught a 40 cm walleye today East parking lot. Close to the corner. A couple was there earlier in the morning they had 3 walleye. My walleye was my 6 year olds daughter's first. I set the hook and handed her the rod .she had a blast

by Bigheaddoug on May. 11, 2017
Thanks Zeus, gonna have to take your advice.

by Zeus87 on May. 11, 2017
For all the people saying that walleye don't feed when they are spawning I think you might want to do more research. I've fished walleye my whole life and while they do slow down during spawning they can still be caught in good numbers. It's all about knowing the right techniques presentation to get them to strike. I went out today and caught my share of walleye and saw followers almost every time I reeled in a fish. So don't listen to these people saying they don't feed just do more research and learn the techniques and you will catch fish

by Bigheaddoug on May. 10, 2017
Yup, spawning time walleye don't feed. Wait a week or two.

by AbuGarcia on May. 9, 2017
It's may though, shouldn't they at least be biting by now. Last year mid May it was a frenzy.

by walleye finder on May. 9, 2017
yo some walleye still spawning

by AbuGarcia on May. 9, 2017
Better off trying chain lakes. Lake is dead

by MUGEN on May. 9, 2017
Has all the ice cleared up here? Good to take the boat out?

by walleye finder on May. 8, 2017
no the regulatin is Open all year;Walleye limit 3 at no size limit and 3 pikes and maybe 10 burbots bait allowed

by MUGEN on May. 8, 2017
Do you need a permit for the Walleye at Coulee?

by thoffman on May. 6, 2017
Caught 3 small pike today.

by MrShark on Apr. 29, 2017
So much for Pine Coulee Reservoir. Thanks for posting.

by Family Guy on Apr. 29, 2017
I emailed the govt as I wanted to know what is going on with this lake and the whole fishing out the walleye thing. I thought I'd share the response I got. : Following multiple years of sampling walleye (young and mature walleye) at Pine Coulee Reservoir, data has shown that there is no population level recruitment into this population and that walleye growth rates are very low when compared to other Alberta walleye populations. There is no expectation that Pine Coulee Reservoir could be managed to support walleye sustainably. To allow opportunity for harvest of these walleye and in recognition of the limitations on this population, the regulation has been changed to 3 Walleye of any size. The intention is to move to a stocked fishery objective following depletion of walleye with the species yet to be determined. Thank you.

by sandacz on Apr. 23, 2017
APRIL 22, lots of anglers, on the shores and on boats, no fish caught at all

by BigTomAce on Apr. 22, 2017
Not much for hazards in lake. The few bays can get shallow quick. I don't think there is too much to worry about. A lot of people have their ski boats out there in the summer so probably pretty safe. Lots of weeds mid summer though.
by soulfly on Apr. 19, 2017
Have never fished here before. I was wondering if anyone can tell me of any hazards in the water. I wrecked my last prop at crawling valley. Thanks!

by blue nose on Apr. 18, 2017
I was out first thing this morning. Lots of fish on radar! But no bites, nibbles, nothing! No matter what I presented!

by bucktail on Apr. 16, 2017
From our experience last summer each time out we had over 100 fish on 5 plus occasions. Bucktail jigs, worm harness and smelt on pickerel rigs. You'll have to work for thr fish and get creative with presentations. The small bay is great for Pike end of April and early may. Good luck and go fishing

by walleye finder on Apr. 16, 2017

Is all the ice gone yet for a boat ??

by Lanabeans on Apr. 14, 2017
What are the fishing hours at pine coul

by FrenchFisherman on Apr. 13, 2017
I cant conform "who's or what for" the netting was , it was set up along the North West area of the Bridge and about 50 Feet from shore, it was set up in a fair seize to collect the most of what ever they were collecting.

by MrShark on Apr. 12, 2017
The ways of Fish and Wildlife are mysterious. Thanks.

by NorthernYaker on Apr. 11, 2017
Likely netting to study the fish populations before the recent big regulation changes I would suspect.

by MrShark on Apr. 11, 2017
Big netting? Sounds odd. Did it look like someone was simply trying to poach?

by NorthernYaker on Apr. 11, 2017
The lake now has a 3 walleye any size and pike limit now so nobody's catching and releasing. Get your walleye now before it's only tiny rainbows...

by FrenchFisherman on Apr. 11, 2017
Love Pine coulee Reservoir for walleye fishing , but I must agree in the decrease in the catch. me and my fishing buds used to pull up about 80 wallys in a day about 5 years ago, last year we pull up maybe 25. please release your walleyes..._CATCH AND RELEASE only....._we did notice tho last year there was a big netting set up North of the bridge, I'm curious to see how many Walleyes we'll catch this year...

by NorthernYaker on Apr. 10, 2017
Spawning plays a small role in the slow action, Water temps are the big factor. Go small and slow...

by burge on Apr. 9, 2017
I was at Bass Pro Shop today everyone is out there but not many fish. Wardens out there but during the spawn walleye don't bite so it will be slow

by skunk'd on Apr. 9, 2017
The good thing is that the lake is open, if you want to take the boat out and try your gear. Yes too early for good fishing and low water but the boat launch ramp is very long. Dock won't be out for a while. Enough water to go under the bridge and explore north.

by walleye finder on Apr. 8, 2017

Everyone is saying that the lake is dead . What none of you know is that every other lake is close because is the spawning time for them (walleye). Give it another month and they will eat like crazy and read a bit about the species you fish for. Cheers

by skunk'd on Apr. 7, 2017
Fished for about 2 1/2 hours this morning, cold and wet. Very slow even around the bridge which is usually very productive. Had one huge take which actually broke my line so beware the fish with a wobbly lure in its mouth. Water levels are VERY low, no more that 30 feet in the middle.

by walleye finder on Apr. 7, 2017
no ones the res is fished out they are stocking trout
by Nviro on Apr. 7, 2017
Nope, just trout.

by walleye finder on Apr. 7, 2017
are they still stocking it with walleye

by MrShark on Apr. 7, 2017
There still are some walleye there, but they're small and unappealing. Also not many pike and no burbot (or maybe one or two...)

by Nviro on Apr. 7, 2017
The survey they put out said that the walleye there were stocked and are a few years away from dying of old age and they don't reproduce much so they'll all be gone soon anyway so might as well catch them to eat them so they can stock it with one of the triploid trout species.

Pine Coulee Walleyes have gone down significantly 10:1 in the last few years in size and in number hence the failure in stocking it with Walleyes. Hopefully the Pikes got fatter but from my experience so far just in numbers of Pike.

by JigyJigy on Jan. 24, 2017
Well, tried Pine Coulee again on Saturday Jan 21. Skunked for the first time in AB (13 years). Finally went to the boat launch area instead of the bridge...driving on the ice was the excitement of the day...which is pretty sad.
by Jjolg on Jan. 17, 2017
I agree gave it another shot Sunday. One walleye landed in 5 hours. Only positive was ice is thick enough to drive on and pack up in a hurry.

by JigyJigy on Jan. 17, 2017
What's happened to this lake? Steady decline in walleye bite production over the past 3 years. Used to be nothing to land 30 fish through the ice in a few hours near the bridge. Was out Dec 31st 3 bites all day - only positive was that they were all landed.

Fished here yesterday Fromm 1100hr to 1300. Water was very low and turbid; too windy to put the canoe in, so fished from the dock. Ran through all the usual spoons and spinners. Landed one walleye and one pike with an orange kit-a-mat spoon by Gibbs. Had 1 nibble and half a doz trailers to the dock, but was otherwise slow. Boat launch is solid.

Fish finder ringing like crazy (everything at 20-25ft) but no action. Algae is bad making for some real poor visibility. Tried trolling, jigging, and boat casting but came up snake-eyes on all counts. Nobody else out there seemed to be doing any better. So I tried here a week or two ago with a friend. I trolled both sides of the lake from the boat launch to the bridge with not even 1 bite using husky jerks. Next time I try this lake it will for sure be with smelts jigging north of the bridge. Should have known mid summer the fish would be deep. Great launch and nice little power campground beside if your planning on doing a weekend trip. Nice lake, should have prepared a little better before I tried it out.

Thanks. I went today and tonight. I agree ice is very poor. I left the civic on the shore. Slow today until about 6pm . So far got 3 burbot and landed 3 eyes. The eyes are small and look stunted. Lots of little nibbles.
by fearnofish on Jan. 26, 2015
I was there yesterday, slew. The ice is getting pretty weak, lots of water on top where I was(south end) we broke through near shore and watched some huge pieces start sinking. Unless we get a cold snap it's only going to get worse. We were still able to find some areas with safe(ish) ice, but it made targeting tricky. I definitely would not drive on the ice. And to top it all off it was a brutally slow day. Didn't see a fish, didn't get any bites. I would say try by the bridge if you go, but be really careful, the ice around the bridge will be getting pretty bad.

This is always a great place to take kids or friends who just want to catch fish. It's easy to catch 30-50 walleye in a few hours jigging using jig heads and minnows. Anchored down by the bridge or in weed beds with 12-18ft of water. Also there are some BIG pike lurking in there feasting on the walleye ;)

by iFish Guest on Jan. 20, 2014
Was there Sunday. Managed 12. All walleye. Didn't look like anyone else was catching but me. I am ok with that. :p

by MedicFly on Jan. 17, 2014
Spent all day fishing at different depths. Started the day out at the boat launch and caught one small pike with no other bites. Moved into deeper water again with no luck and then moved again across the lake to a small inlet and again with no luck there either. Thought we would have had more action.

Anyone pulling out decent size burbs? Looking for a good spot

by Nviro on Jan. 8, 2014
Hi Grimace18. I've only caught small walleye in a hole south of 527 maybe only 25' deep but no matter how slow I pulled them up their eyes and swim bladders were rupturing so stopped. The burbot did well there though right before spawning last year so make sure your tackle is appropriate and you keep an eye down the hole so you don't get walleye by-catch. A lot of people fish shallower near 527 for burbs too. Right near the bridge I've seen open water even on the coldest days so be very careful. Haven't been there this year yet so let me know how it goes if you make the trip and good luck!

by Safhlhockey on Jan. 2, 2014
16 inches of ice. A couple walleye over six hours. SE of boat launch. Underwater camera not showing much.
by Grimace18 on Dec. 30, 2013
Ice Report: 13 in
Punched holes at bridge on 527, all around 13". Slow fishing, 3 eyes in 2 hrs. Fished 34 to 21 feet, jig head and minnow. Fished south side of bridge closest to lookout point. Any suggestions for decent ice fishing on this lake? Please be aware of thinning ice as you near the bridge, noticeably less that 10" when I stopped

by GUNDOG on Aug. 19, 2013
Absolutely great day on last wed!! 70 eyes, 20 pike in 5 hours. All along the west shore!! Thanks to the fish cops for keeping this place honest!! GREAT LAKE!

by Swampdonkey on Aug. 17, 2013
Absolutely crazy day, must have caught close to 100 walleye between 2 of us by the dock!

by iFish Guest on Jul. 19, 2013
long narrow lake..best for watersking in front of dam

by iFish Guest on Jul. 13, 2013
How is this lake for water sports other than fishing? (Waterskiing tubing wake boarding)?

by iFish Guest on Jun. 29, 2013
It's fine after the flood. Saw a few people by the bridge and at the dock.

by JanneyB on Jun. 23, 2013
Anyone know how Coulee faired in these floods?

by Albertapikeseeker on Jun. 2, 2013
Where's a good spot for burbot?

by iFish Guest on Jun. 1, 2013
great burbot fishing but not a lot of pike. Got one 8 pd and one 6 pd burbot fishing late and a lot of small walleye. Good to see conservation out checking for poachers

by iFish Guest on May. 26, 2013
Non stop walleye, got 25 too 30 from the campground side from the bridge. Too many people on dock

by BradWalker72 on May. 21, 2013
Caught 14 walleye in a couple hours. All between 15-20 inches. Was using white silicone streamers on weighted bead head hooks.

by iFish Guest on May. 18, 2013
My friend and I caught a dozen fish each and everyone we saw was pulling in fish. Great lake for beginners. A small lead with a small smelt or medium smelt cut in two works wonders. Kids can cast 4 feet from the dock by the campground and catch fish all day.

by GUNDOG on Mar. 11, 2013
Anyone know how thick the ice is now?

by iFish Guest on Feb. 20, 2013
Went fishing Feb. 17th and the Southeast side near the bridge had ice that was only 6 inches thick, and lots of open water around the bridge. But the fish were sure biting.

by Safhlhockey on Feb. 19, 2013
Feb 18. 18 inches ice. Numerous walleye on camera in day, but the bite was slow. No shortage of Ling after dark, but all very small.

by Safhlhockey on Feb. 12, 2013
Feb 11. 18 inches ice at launch. Fished 2 hrs. None on ice. Lots of walleye on camera.

by Tomato on Feb. 8, 2013
Feb 6. Ice 18 inches thick at boat launch. Watch for open water near and under bridge.

by iFish Guest on Jan. 30, 2013
You will have to get lucky maybe 100 pike I hole lake

by Phishing on Jan. 29, 2013
Where are all the pike at? Catching walleye by the boat load, few burbs too but nil on the pike

by Tripx on Jan. 7, 2013
First time fishing this lake. Got a few pointers from another fisherman there and landed 6 walleye. Also seen one burbot on the cam.

by Big Blue on Jan. 6, 2013
Perfect, thank you!

by Boots on Jan. 6, 2013
Just look for the smelts with the small barely visible fin between dorsal and tail, those are only ones not considered bait fish and are salt water origin.

by Big Blue on Jan. 6, 2013
I went to superstore for smelts, they only have freshwater, regs say no freshwater smelt so where do I get the saltwater smelts for bait?

by Steve on Jan. 5, 2013
Are you allowed to have quads on pine coulee to ice fish

by Big Blue on Jan. 2, 2013
South side for a few hours, no hits, was slow. I suspect I had wrong bait.

by FishBlunts420 on Jan. 1, 2013
14-16 inches of ice. 3 walleye. great day of fishing, can't wait to head back.

by Gundog on Jan. 1, 2013
Was out for the day on Sunday the 30.. 4.5hrs and only one nice Walleye. Saw only one nice sized burb being pulled out near the boat launch by another party. Ice is about 12". Few hits on med smelt, tried all depths. Clear water.

When today to try my new auger I was at the 527hwy bridge and the ice was 8-10 caught 5 eyes in the half hour I was there

by AznRiceMan on Dec. 9, 2012
Went out today with a couple buddies and fishing was pretty slow. Managed only a few burbs in 8 hours near the launch. Ice was 4-6" all around. Mild wind and a beautiful day.

by Chilly on Sep. 10, 2012
Went on Sept. 9th and was on the water from 9:30am to 2:30pm. We caught 50 - 60 Walleye. Nothing bigger than 1 pound but lots of action. Had my two kids with me and they had a blast.

by Al on Sep. 5, 2012
I went to pine coulee reservoir cause friend of mine told me it's a good place to fish. he is absolutely right. I caught 30 walleye in just more than an hour. I fish from the shore. It was fun.

by karpy on Aug. 31, 2012
I took our 6 year old grandson to Pine Coulee and he caught 20 walleye in 3 hours...I've fished there 7 or 8 times in the past couple of summers and have had tremendous fishing each time...this lake is fun for beginners and children...no boredom setting in here...!

by BIG_MIKE on Aug. 17, 2012
Daniel if you cannot catch fish in this lake then stay away from fishing. I fish from the shore there exclusively and am disappointed if I don't catch less than 30-40 fish in a few hours. You need to use a Pickerel rig and minnows from the east shore before the bridge.

by Daniel on Aug. 17, 2012
Fished pine coulee for the last 2 days terrible fishing stay away. Fished from the bridge not even a bite. Maybe a boat is the ticket to get nice and deep? Do not try from shore until it really cools off.

by Softhackle on Aug. 8, 2012
Tons of Walleye. Found them at 12-14 feet of water. Tons of water skiers too but big enough lake to get away from them. Nice little lake

by Fishin eyes on Jul. 31, 2012
Was fishing by the bridge with no luck when a nice man pulled up in his boat and offered to take us out fishing went to a spot just north of the hwy527 bridge and the three of us pulled walleye after walleye. Must have caught 80 fish between the 3 of us in a few hours. Great place and a nice guy.

by alex on Jul. 27, 2012
Hi any hints on how to catch a decent size pike off a boat in pine coulee

by Gold lure on Jul. 16, 2012
Great place for kids fishing. Even a toddler can catch a lot on the dock

by Cool on Jul. 4, 2012
Saw many people fish under the bridge of hwy 527. Could be a good spot

by Tealc on Jul. 3, 2012
Any other good off shore fishing spots, the docks get to crowded at times

by NC on Jun. 29, 2012
Caught tons of walleye within 3 hours today ( use yellow/orange jigheads with half a smelt a couple reels off of bottom at the campgrounds white dock) remember to release all walleye you catch as it is illegal to keep them. AMAZING FISHING!!!

by Larry58 on May. 21, 2012
Spent a couple of hours been blown around the lake. Water was really cold and no fish biting either eyes or pike. Cold front coming in,I'll blame that!

by Cody2727 on May. 20, 2012
Went there yesterday and pulled out a foot and a half pike and right before I was going to leave coughs a 3 footer 11 pounds

by Big_Mike on May. 11, 2012
This is a great lake to take the kids. Pickerel rig and some smelt and you will kill em

by BenG on May. 10, 2012
